Working Meeting with NGO Representatives

On September 19th, 2013 was a meeting of Public Procurement Office management and NGO representatives from Balkan countries (Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro).

Meeting was a part of the project focused on increasing the effectiveness of public procurement on Balkan (Towards Efficient Public Procurement Mechanisms in the EU (potential) Candidate Countries). Slovakia serves in a project as a expert country and its role is EU and Slovak know-how transfer.

At the beginning the PPO president introduced main activities of the Office as well as the basic principles and processes of public procurement in Slovakia. She also informed about the short-terms goals of the Office.

The introductory presentation was followed by discussion where the NGO representatives took the advantage to discuss  with attending representatives of Office departments.
