Representatives of the coalition "Toward Efficient Public Procurement Mechanisms in the EU (potential) Candidate Countries" were on a study tour

Within this project "Towards effective mechanisms of public procurement in the (potential) candidate countries for EU membership" study tour to Slovakia was organized from 16.-20.09.2013.

During the visit to Slovakia, representatives of the coaltion had a number of meetings with representatives of the state administration, NGOs, media, business sector etc. Topics of these meeting were exchanging and transfering of the Slovak experience from different perspectives. Gained experience and knowledge will be of great benefit to the coalition in the next phases of the project, particularly in defining the specific recommendations for the improvement of national public procurement systems in context of European integration.

Beside these meetings, visit to the Public Procurement Office of the Slovak Republic was organized as well, and within it a meeting with the managment of the Office.
