The value of public procurement concluded during the last year in Montenegro were 323.15 million euro, or about 9.72 percent of the estimated gross domestic product, according to the Report of the Public Procurement adopted by the Government.

The report also states that the contracting authority for the Public Procurement submitted reports for 4423 procurement. It was noted that the number of contracts recorded decreased over the last four years, so the number of contracts made in 2012 amounted to 21 percent of the total number of contracts in comparison to 2008.
