Corruption has been flourishing in education, construction, trade, and agriculture. Everyone bribes in different way.


Most of the companies in Macedonia are getting the tenders for new business through connections, direct bribery with money-back, by offering quit pro quo and privileges and by disqualification of the opponent. Brabe is common in education, construction, agriculture...

As much as 72.5% of private sector employees say that companies pay bribes to secure business through public tender. These are the results of the latest research of the agency “Rating” done in cooperation with the OSCE Mission in Skopje and the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption. In the telephone survey conducted between May 15-19, 2013 participated 800 private sector employees.
