On the basis of the relevant reports and analysis, it can be concluded that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a number of adequate laws, based on good international practice, but because of the lack of political will, the discrepancies in the various levels of government and weak coordination mechanisms, laws are inconsistent in practice.
Compared to other countries in the region, Bosnia and Herzegovina is for many years clearly behind, and to avoid further collapse of the legal system and institutional framework it is urgent to prosecute the most serious forms of corruption.
